Sephora Haul

The day before my gym staff banquet I began getting my outfit ready. Realizing I ran out of many make up “necessities”, I messaged my go-to make up artist Rain Shapiro – Senior Artist at Sephora Yorkdale – for her guidance. I created a list off of her recommendations to go in to Sephora and only get:

  • Under the eye concealer, and
  • Powder foundation

… but we all know that does not happen. Even with my list in hand and metaphorical blinders on, I thought of other things I wanted to try. Below is what I purchased thanks to the help of Rain and Oz at Sephora Masonville:

It is dermatologist and opthamologist tested for use on all skin types, and safe for contact lens wearers.”

Previously used: No

Details from Sephora: “A lightweight, powder foundation that leaves skin with a flawless, rose-petal finish. This powder foundation formula features crystalline powder, which works on all skin types to conceal imperfections, leaving skin with a soft-focus appearance. Infused with an antioxidant-rich, oil-absorbing Exclusive Cocoa Complex, a non-drying powder that defends against free radicals, it minimizes the appearance of fine lines and pores, and provides skin with a subtle, chocolate scent. This foundation can be reapplied throughout the day for medium-to-full coverage that doesn’t look heavy or cakey. This formula is vegan and cruelty-free…”
